Skszp
- Steve Lockwood (bass)
Steve's
musical career started in 1973 when he picked up his first electric
Bass guitar. Since then he has spent over 30 years playing in bands
both in his hometown of Brighton, UK and abroad covering practically
every music style there is apart from Jazz.
Although never a full professional (he says he always needed more
money to support his lifestyle than he could earn as a muso) he
has played in many bands and on many recordings, most recently an
album of original material in the rock trio GTL. His influences
lay very much in 70's rock scene. Bass players such as Chris Squire,
Martin Turner, Roger Glover and Jimmy Dewar had a big impact on
his style and to this day he still loves to play 70's rock as bassman
in Deeply
Purple.
This is his first foray into musical theatre and he has enjoyed
his involvement very much.

Schlatko
- Lee Farmery... also known as Fluffy (drums)
I
started playing the tubs eleven years ago with my cousin Simon on
bass guitar - together we set out for World Domination! We crammed
tha band into my bedroom, the size of a shoebox, with the talent
of not being able to tune yet or even play in time (he he he). From
that I progressed to a band, where I could practice, drink and drink
a bit more. (I was very VERY drunk) *hic* .
Going from that I got into a college band which was full of "Kevins"...
It was sooooooo unfaiiir! (throws Kevin strop). This band then mutated
into Alien Bitch.
A band called NufZed was formed after this and after a few changes
became Delta Red with Mel on vocals, Mike Lock on guitar and Simon
on bass. At this time I was attending the Musicians Institute in
London, where I studied the art of hitting things with twigs.
A few years later I joined a band in Southend called Eugene Speed,
who I toured the UK twice with, playing small and large venues and
appearing on the same stage as JJ72, Terrovision, Atomic Kitten
and (wait for it) - the clincher - *drumroll please*..... Billie
Piper! ho ho ho! I've made noise for School For Scandal and then
Lick was formed. I am also known as the bloke who fills in for other
drummers - I guess I am the original musical prostitute ;)

Jacek
- Tesco (guitar)
Tesco was born and grew up in Portslade, West Sussex. His early
influences were The Beatles, Genesis and ACDC, as well as Peter
Gabriel who has remained a great source of inspiration to this day.
He played his first gig on Jan10th 1972 and in the following year
(73) played alongside Nigel Goodfellow (later to be know as Horacio
Hornblower from Darts) in the Arbitration Rock Band.
1975 was the year of Tesco's first recording contract with the band
Risk for Dick James Music, which was followed by a second contract
with Racer in 1977 for Hanser records.
Other bands have included The Tinsels and Nights in Montreaux with
Steve Lockwood, Traitor in 1979 alongside Mick Neaves (Flares) and
Andy Morley (now of Made in Japan) and The Ripping Triffles in 1980
with long standing friend Terry Smith.
Tesco joined forces with Dave Williams to form Loup Garou in 1981
and later, staying with Dave Williams, teamed up once again with
Terry Smith to form The Dirty Shoes who are still together after
nearly twenty years. They remain one of the most successful Rock
covers bands in the Brighton area.
During the summer of 2001 LICK was formed to perform at a charity
event. They stayed together and have been a challenging and exciting
part of Tesco's life ever since.
Now living in Worthing, with daughter's Amie and Eve and son Jack,
Tesco still finds time for his passion of Music, and is easily encouraged
to get on stage for a number or two with other local bands such
as Supersaurus and the Clash City Rockers.

Hlava
- Marcus Lane (keyboards)
I
started
playing with my organ at the age of 7 but it wasn't until I was
12 that I managed to get anything decent out of it. I started with
my right hand, progressed to my left, and eventually I used them
both at once.
During my early teens I played with my organ alone but soon wanted
more excitement. I learned to program a sequencer so I could make
believe someone else was playing with it. Sometimes I'd play with
it in public as I found it more exciting when other people were watching.
Like a lot of boys, it wasn't until I was 17 that I started involving
other people. Unusually, I went straight to doing it in a group.
Bands of varying flavours and abilities have come and gone through
the years - once, I even accompanied Sir Patrick Moore and his impressive
multi-belled xylophone, knocking out some classics on Brighton Beach.
Bands have included X-Tradition, Pandemonium, the Bernard Cribbins
Experience and One Louder (when my organ went up to 11).
My musical work now focuses on Brighton's 'Studioscape', a 'fame
academy' music school offering kids and teenagers the opportunity
to learn how to sing and perform in pop bands. Studioscape is providing
a much-needed pop angle for the huge number of kids who love music
and singing but are not into the rock scene. Our last gig involved
over 30 of the young blighters performing with a live band at the
Brighton Centre. God Bless Britney!
