Steve's
musical career started in 1973 when he picked up his first electric
Bass guitar. Since then he has spent over 30 years playing in bands
both in his hometown of Brighton, UK and abroad covering practically
every music style there is apart from Jazz.
Although never a full professional (he says he always needed more
money to support his lifestyle than he could earn as a muso) he
has played in many bands and on many recordings, most recently an
album of original material in the rock trio GTL. His influences
lay very much in 70's rock scene. Bass players such as Chris Squire,
Martin Turner, Roger Glover and Jimmy Dewar had a big impact on
his style and to this day he still loves to play 70's rock as bassman
in Deeply
Purple.
This is his first foray into musical theatre and he has enjoyed
his involvement very much.
