Jim
spent his early adulthood touring as a professional drummer with the
bands Magnum and Pegasus across Europe and into Scandanavia. He followed
this with a stint as Assistant Stage Manager at the Palace Theatre Manchester
during Danny La Rue's residence there.
Jim then took a break from music and theatre to develop the business
he runs with his wife Jill and in bringing up their two children.
He was lured back into the music scene as both promoter and tour manager
for the American based transgendered Dark Glam band 'All the Pretty
Horses' for their recent European Tour www.prettyhorses.net
and to reinforce the Hedwig links their drummer the statuesque Ms Jendeen
played in the Minneapolis production as part of the Angry Inch.
Jim also was recently stage manager at the Amsterdam International Film
Festival for the world premiere of Venus Of Mars by Emily Goldberg www.venusofmars.com
He has enjoyed not escaping from the Transgendered theme by joining
the crew of Hedwig.
