Rose Tinted's future plans...........
Will not include producing Hedwig for the forseeable future, however, we do have some irons in the fire including a certain well known american Rock Musical and a British cult one from the 80's that we may bring back & re-vamp in the not too distant future, so keep checking back.
In the meantime we will continue working with people with disabilities & from socially excluded groups, assisting them to develop and learn within the world of arts & drama. The Morpheus Studio space is now operational in Newbury, West Berkshire and plans are well along the path for a new community building that will house the Morpheus Theatre (& Company) this work is supported by the European Social Fund's I-Works & Equal projects along with the Learning Disability Development Fund, Vodafone, Arts Council and major financial commitment and backing from West Berkshire Council.
Finally, our Hedwig Atrocity Tour was truly an amazing experience, way beyond our expectations, and aside from the awards and five star reviews the thing that mattered most to us and drove us forward was the support of everyone that came along and saw our venture, it's one thing people coming and congratulating you after the performance, its something else to receive hundreds of e-mails from people who had gone home and thought about how Hedwig's story had moved and challenged them and then relayed those thoughts to us through pen to paper and e-mail - we thank you all.
We know there are several other companies across the country hoping or planning to stage Hedwig and will use this site to assist them promoting their shows, perhaps our English regional premiere has been the catalyst for this uplift in interest in this wonderful and unique piece of musical theatre.
Hope to see you in a theatre in the not too distant future, lift up those hands
