EXPLODING SUITCASE!!
Help!! Too many costumes...!! The suitcase is full and we haven't packed ANY of our own clothes in yet! Looks like 'Frank n Skszp' might get out of wearing the Rocky Horror costume tomorrow night at this rate... bah!!
Oh dear, I think we need a bigger airplane!
This time tomorrow we'll be in Milan! Yay!

Well here we are at last, up to my ass in cotumes, wigs & props for packing and armed with a Cathy style checklist !!
24 hours till we fly and five days until Milan gets its first taste of Hed.
The artwork for the Berlin wall stage backdrop has been completed and Im looking forward to seeing that for the first time at the set up on monday.
We were featured in a national magazine this week and I understand there will be intensive media coverage from TV, radio and press prior to opening.

Website updated
Have just sent out the latest newsletter with all the Milan news. The website has been updated also.
Borrowed lots of books on Milan from the library on Saturday, so I will plan a full itinary of sightseeing for everyone... (what do you mean you're not getting out of bed before midday???)
Think I need to buy a bigger suitcase to transport the makeup and all those costumes out there (not just the Hedwig ones, but everyone's outfits for Rocky Horror too -I'm not having anyone making excuses that they have nothing to wear!).
Apparently Stu has promised to dress as Rocky in a pair of gold pants and Steve can't deny that he is destined to be Frank N Furter...
If that's not a good reason to book your trip to Milan, I don't know what is! ;-)

Milano here we come...........
Well its been a while since I updated the diary and here we are two weeks off flying to Milan.
The Teatro Ariberto is a great intimate space (around 250) and we are looking forward to the challenge of staging Hedwig in another country.
There is lots of info re costume & stage changes in our newsletter the "Earwig" so sign up to that if you want more details.
The script has been adapted to its locale and we've even worked some translations in although it will be performed primarily in English, bit of useless info for you - there is no equivalent to the english word C**T, they do have a slang word for that particular part of the female anatomy but it is not used in a derogatory way, perhaps being more revered there !?

Well... a few weeks and we are off again ... this time to Milan. Can't wait because I have never exercised my lungs in Italy before.. Have heard that the theatre is great and that there are some really good rock clubs to visit..... not to mention the fine Italian food and wine .....lovely
