Can't wait to hear the finished CD after sitting in on some of the recording last week - it was already sounding amazing before Pete even starts mastering it all.
Loads achieved at rehearsal this week, as 'Big Wig' talked through characterisations with the band (maybe he'll let Steve smile after all??) and Matt discussed the script and the music clips to be added between songs. Fully rehearsed first section of the show up to 'Origins Of Love' and totally in awe of Matt's performance. Fantastic! It's really shaping up into a show now, rather than just a collection of fantastic songs. Looking forward to adding the projections in. It's all coming together!

We have now completed all the recording for our Cast CD having spent two days locked away in our rehearsal space. Still need to Mix and Master everything but I must say what a great job our sound engineer Pete Mathers did...just goes to show what a degree in Music Technology is worth....top man .
All the musical/vocal arrangements for the show are complete and our musical rehearsal phase is over....it's sounding great. Now it is down to Bigwig and Matt to show us what to do between songs and for us all to rehearse the theatrical side of the show. All I have to do now is learn how to look miserable!! Emmmm!

Brighton officially launched the fringe programme yesterday, they even chose a Hedwig image on the front index to point people towards the theatre section - nice !
Worthing looks better now that our production posters are around town, thanks to all the shops that gave us window space - oh and the back doors of public conveniences too !!
Another mag interview this morning then on to postering Shoreham & Lancing prior to Lick at the Portland Rock Bar tonite, then we go into recording sessions for our CD this weekend.
Its all good.............

Final Music Rehearsal
We have just had our final music rehearsal before we go into two days of recording our cd.
It is simply rocking at the moment and we need to capture that energy and live feel on our recording.
Straight after that we move onto rehearsing the full show and stepping up our schedule - 45 days to opening night !!!

Brighton in Bloom !?
A few miles were walked by the Atrocity Crew yesterday as 250+ Hedwig posters went up around the central Brighton area, thanks to all the shops,pubs, venues & public buildings that gave their support by giving Hed space on their walls & windows.
