Sleep??? Who needs it?!
A busy busy Saturday (again). Another photoshoot (got some absolutely fantastic shots) followed by manic drive from Newbury to Worthing for Dirty Shoes gig - featuring Nick, our Jacek, plus special guest that night... Donny Osmond ! (ooops I mean Steve, our Skszp).
Well worth the effort - superb night!

Just returned home from a v successful day at 'curry studios' in Northampton, where we completed our projections DVD and familiarised ourselves more with the digital AV mixer. The results should look absolutely superb projected above the stage and mixed in with the live feed of the show. Spectacular!
Here's a photo of us in the studio... although either it's all been too much for Big Wig recently, or he was overcome by the curry fumes...
We also shot our introduction announcement to the audience - starring 'Herr Flick', a Benson and Hedges and a large bottle of vodka. As you can see, we're obviously very pleased with the results. The film should start off the show nicely... well, appropriately anyway!

We were all well and truly licked last night.. very pleasurable indeed! Made Hedway with some of the costumes - I seem to recall both Marcus AND Steve agreeing to wearing pvc fluffy pink trousers on our last night. (we have video evidence of this deal... ).

Rockin the Rock Bar !!
Lick the Inch really enjoyed the gig last night at the Rock Bar. Loads of people turned up and we gave it some serious beans playing four Hedwig numbers. There was a big Hedwig team turn out and I must say that Cathy and Sharon looked fantastic in their pink gear. Marcus was so impressed he asked Cathy if she would make him up some pink stuff for the show. Matt sang brilliantly and also looked great but will have to shave if he wants to compete with the other lovely ladies on the team.
It was also good to see old Bigwig letting his hair down and doing a bit of Hed banging. All I can say John, is that you are lucky if you only get the Fluff man banging around in your head when you have over indulged on the good stuff...... if you stand where I stand every gig it becomes a permanent feature Lol!

Friday 20th was quite a day - up at 4.30am to prepare for a photo shoot & interview with a national magazine based in East London, then off to pick up more merchandise from our printers and finally down to the Lick gig in Hove where we had the chance to perform four hedwig songs and drink copious amounts of the demon brew (possibly why it feels like Lee 'fluffy' Farmery is doing a drum roll inside my head !) before heading home home @ 2.30 am.
Shock'n'roll !! and we love it...................

Cathy and Andy managed to escape from the wig madness for a couple of days by heading off for a weekend of walking in the Brecon Beacon mountains (Wales), but everywhere they went they were pursued by a trail of people demanding tickets for Hedwig...

We completed our first photo shoot with the whole cast last weekend and the look is shaping up nicely.
Rehearsals are underway and all of the music score has been played through, come and hear a couple of numbers at the next Lick gig @ the Portland Rock Bar in Hove Friday 20th February.
We also had a guest from Italy over who is looking at the possibility of Ms Hedwig & the inch appearing over there later in 2004, watch this space.........

Angry Inch update:
We all really enjoyed performing the Hedwig songs at the gig on the 30th. Having Matt and Marcus up there with us for the first time felt good and, judging by the crowd reaction, sounded good too. Now everything is set and all we have to do is rehearse for the big event. Fantastic!!
