Dont you know me Worthing ?
Our Hedwig, Matt Tapscott, flew into the UK yesterday morning and with very little rest joined our Angry Inch "Lick" (along with our new keys man Marcus) for a couple of Hedwig numbers at their gig last night, they reprised Tear Me Down as the encore number and brought the house down, the frightening thing is that having only just met and with no rehearsal they were as good as any band I have ever heard ! (bodes well for our production)
See them perform random wig numbers at all the Lick gigs prior to opening, full list is available under cast section of this website.

Angry Inch update:
The Angry Inch is complete!!!!!
Our new keyboard player is Marcus Lane. We tried him out on Tuesday and it all went very well. Marcus is local and very enthusiastic about the show. It only took him an hour before he was in the thick of the banter so he'll have no problems settling in. All we need now is Hedwig and we are ready to rock!!!!!!.

Angry Inch update:
Played the first Hedwig song (Random Number Generation) last Friday at our LICK gig in the Portland Rockbar. Felt good and went down well. Certain members of the creative team seemed to be bopping about a lot I noticed.
Will be having our first rehearsal with a keyboard player on Tuesday so expect to see the fifth member of The Angry Inch named in a few days.

Yep, we've had quite a few entries to our 'name the 5th band member' competition... but will be keeping the suggestions "under our wigs" until closing date on 31st January - when Sir Big Wig will make the final judgement!
Keep those entries coming in for your chance to win a Hedwig poster signed by the cast.

Angry Inch update
Things are moving along nicely now. Next number up on the list for rehearsal is Exquisite Corpse.
By the end of January we will be ready to enter the more detailed next phase of rehearsal with Matt. We will also have our keyboard player. There are now a few musicians who are keen to play keys in The Inch so watch this space for our final decision on who that is going to be. Have we got any suggestions for a stage name yet??

Website update -
The shop/box office is pretty much configured now. We are in the process of finalising our trading policy for tickets and merchandise, after which we should be able to get it up and running.
We are now top of the list for Google search on 'hedwig and the angry inch uk' and near the top of second page for general 'hedwig and the angry inch' search (hope to hit the first page soon...!). Not bad seeing as site has only been running for 3 months!
We are also getting more and more subscribers for the newsletter, with increasing numbers from the UK.
Looking forward to Ms Hedwig's arrival in the UK!

Angry Inch update
Tear Me Down and Angry Inch are coming together. Working on Origin of Love and Sugar Daddy now. We are all looking forward to Matt's arrival when we will really be able to get things moving. Now have a few names in the frame for our keyboard player and hope to have someone on board in the next week or so.
