Hooray!!! Finally managed to sign on to the Diary.
Well, everything going well here in not so sunny Worthing. We (the band Lick) are very hyped about the Hedwig experience. Personally I can't wait to have a good excuse to wear a beard again. Looking forward to meeting the members of the team on friday at our Lick gig at the Portland. Bye

Had our first proper Angry Inch rehearsal last night and worked through Random Number Generation and The Long Grift. Sounded great for a first blast !! Next up is Tear me down and Angry Inch. Apparently Matt likes to give it some beans on Angry Inch so we'll punk it up tempo wise..that will please Stu

Just a reminder that Lick (the angry inch) are playing in Brighton @ the Portland Rock Bar this Friday 19th and also at the same venue on the 31st where one or two numbers from a certain musical may be in the set list !! more details @ www.lickrock.com

Lick are now getting used to the idea of being ‘The Angry Inch’. We have been watching the video and familiarizing ourselves with the songs. Next week we intend to start rehearsing the material starting with Random Number Generation and The Long Grift where Mel and I will be doing the lead vocals. Between now and the end of January we will work on the other songs in preparation for when Matt comes to the UK. The search for a keyboard player is underway but we have not as yet found the right man/woman for the job. We are all looking forward to meeting the creative team over the next few weeks and can’t wait to get it all together.

140 days to go and its starting to fly now, our Musical Director Skszp aka Steve and the rest of Lick (the Angry Inch) have started rehearsing the songs, watch out for our Yitzhak's Random Number Generation !
Ms Hedwigs cape is ready and due to be shipped out from the South Carolinas next week and I have just done an interview for Uptown Magazine in Winnipeg Canada, where our Ms Hedwig will depart from in January en route to our blustery UK shores.

A busy weekend of wigging in Brighton - sponsorship from a nightclub and a deal with a local hotel to offer reduced rates for those attending the shows in May 2004 should be secured by the end of the week.
There is increasing media interest in the show, with 9 confirmed magazine articles/covers and further meetings with journalists lined up for early next year.
The website is moving ahead in leaps and bounds as we achieve a number one rating for searches conducted under 'hedwig and the angry inch uk'. We are continually working on site updates and should have online shop coming soon.
